To pursue our vision for a better world through the power of storytelling, the International Storytelling Center is conducting a series of national and international initiatives.

Through our work, the Center inspires and empowers people around the world to use storytelling to:

		Enrich the lives of children, youth, and families,
		Create a more nurturing environment for health and healing,
		Enhance leadership and management in business, non-profit management, and government administration,
		Build communities of peace,
		Promote cultural preservation and understanding to save the history and traditions of our families, communities, and cultures around the world.

The International Storytelling Center provides the experiences, knowledge, and tools necessary to inspire and empower individuals and families, organizations and institutions, and communities and cultures around the nation and the world to use storytelling to create positive change.
