2008 Storytelling Festival Set for October 3-5, 2008
The 36th National Storytelling Festival is scheduled for October 3-5, in historic Jonesborough. Preregister by September 26, 2008 and save!
Teller-in-Residence Season Announced
This summer, a steady stream of storytellers will bring a world's worth of yarns to the International Storytelling Center in Jonesborough. The Center's Teller-in-Residence program Storytelling Live! has chosen 22 of the industry's best and brightest performers to take turns lighting up the stage.
This year’s teller-in-residence season includes some exciting evening concerts and Saturday morning events especially for children. Tickets for these unique and usually sold-out performances are available beginning May 1st. More information?

The Horizon Project secures $1.8 million
During the first year of The Horizon Project, the International Storytelling Center has secured over $1.8 million in cash, pledges, and promises to fuel the organization’s new and expanded vision. The funds will be used over the coming four years to develop an array of innovative educational products and services, upgrade and expand the Center facilities as our educational campus, and secure the future of our organization by building a stronger financial foundation.
